Striving for “Competence, Compassion and Care”, Triple C Health Family Practice opened on 16th March 2020
Located centrally in the business zone at 418, Tarean Road, Karuah, Triple C Health Family Practice is equipped to provide quality general practice services to all age groups and those with special care needs.
The development has been ‘2 years in the making’ with months of planning and renovations to transform the original shop to a modern family friendly doctor surgery with full disabled access and on-site car parking.
Our Team
Sita Dewamitta
Principal Practitioner
Dr Sita has over 25 years experience, of which over 8 years are in General Practice with 5 years at Tea Gardens. She has completed MBBS(Hons), PhD at University of Kyoto Japan and is a fellowship member of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Her special interests include Skin Cancer and Procedural work, Mental Health, Women’s Health and Chronic Disease Management. Outside of work, her life revolves around her family of four kids, son and two daughters and Tango (her dog).
Bimalka Wijayanayake
General Practitioner
Dr. Bimalka is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs, with a keen interest in gynecology, maternity, and children’s growth and development. Her extensive expertise allows her to provide comprehensive care in these areas, ensuring the well-being of her patients. With a passion for women’s health and pediatric medicine, Dr. Bimalka is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare and fostering positive patient outcomes.
Jacintha Barnasuriya
General Practitioner
With an extensive background spanning over a decade in overseas General Practice, Dr Ayesha is currently focused on achieving fellowship with RACGP. Her professional interests centre around adolescent and Mental Health care. Beyond her medical pursuits, she enjoys both dancing and singing with her family. Dr Ayesha’s dedication underscores her capacity to positively impact patients and maintain professional care.
Annaleise Nicholls
Practice Nurse
Annaleise is a caring medical nurse, devoted to helping those in need. After graduating in 2015 from Holmesglen, she now studies youth work to support teens in foster care, preparing them for independent lives. A proud mother of two boys, she thrives on her farm with her beloved fur babies. Her empathy and dedication shine in her holistic patient care, creating a positive impact on their journey to recovery. With a passion for nurturing and guiding others, she brings hope and encouragement to those she serves.
Andrew Wardley
Practice Nurse
Andrew, a senior registered nurse, played a pivotal role in establishing the Triple C Health Practice. His journey began after completing his Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Newcastle. With over a decade of experience in the Emergency Short Stay Unit at John Hunter Hospital, Andrew brings a wealth of expertise to his role. During his days off, he indulges in road trips and exploring new technology devices.
Natalie Brett
Practice Nurse
In her highly demanding career as a nurse, Natalie finds numerous rewards and a genuine sense of job satisfaction. The knowledge that she can positively impact another person’s day or life is extremely fulfilling. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked in various healthcare settings, starting from completing her training in rural NSW. Later, she traveled to Sydney, where she gained valuable expertise at some of the largest referral hospitals, including surgical, medical, A&E, HDU, CCU pediatrics, maternity, and rehab units.
Madelyn Beetham
Practice Nurse
Madelyn is a dedicated registered nurse, holding a Bachelor of Nursing degree from CQU University in Noosa. With a diverse background encompassing Emergency, mental health, and orthopedics, Madelyn contributes valuable expertise to Triple C Health for two years. She has actively pursued professional development, completing courses in immunization and ear syringing, with a keen interest in further training. Beyond her medical commitments, Madelyn enjoys reading, camping, fishing, and exploring the world through travel.
Sandra Luck
Co Practice Manager
With an extensive administrative background spanning over 20 years, Sandra seamlessly transitioned to a 9-year tenure in medical reception. Since 2021, she has been an integral part of Triple C, contributing her seasoned expertise. Beyond her professional prowess, Sandra finds joy in travel, photography, and sports. Her refined palate also makes her a connoisseur of cheese and wine. Sandra’s diverse skill set and passions enrich her contributions and make her an asset to both the team and her personal pursuits.
Sue Coles
Receptionist
With a distinguished 18-year career in General Practice, Sue excels as a skilled Practice Manager, Administration Officer, and Receptionist. Her academic accomplishments include diplomas in Practice Management and Business Management from UNE. Sue’s expertise and qualifications underscore her commitment to excellence. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds solace in reading and cherishes quality time with her family. Sue’s multifaceted talents and dedication position her as a valuable asset in healthcare administration and beyond.
Lizamaree Willis
Receptionist
Lizamaree brings a wealth of experience, boasting 14 years as an accomplished Admin/Receptionist. Her dedication revolves around prioritizing your well-being. Outside of her professional role, she embraces life’s joys alongside her four children. Lizamaree’s commitment to fostering a positive environment aligns with her career ethos, reflecting her dedication to ensuring your experience is seamless and enriching. Sandiya Nanthakumar
Receptionist
Sandhiya has been working as a medical receptionist since April 2022. Having graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Psychology, she is currently studying for a Masters degree while working part-time at our surgery.
Connor Wade
Receptionist
Conor is one of our newest members of the team as he begins his career in Health Administration. Bust has had plenty of training in the general public spending 13 years in front facing retail and hospitality. In his spare time, he is a self-proclaimed music lover whether it’s live, streaming or Vinyl. He also enjoy movies, Soccer, Pro Wrestling and dining out with friends.
Shannon Quinn
Receptionist
Welcoming Shannon, the latest member of our team. After working in hospitality for over 15 years, she decided on a career change where she could help people and something that was a more rewarding job. Outside of work she cherishes moments with her family and friends and finds joy in sports and camping.
Iswarya Rai
Junior Receptionist
With prior administrative experience overseas, Ishwarya currently balances her role at the practice while studying at the University of Newcastle. Iswwarya’s commitment to professional growth is commendable. Outside of her responsibilities, she indulges in cinema, singing, and cherishing moments with her family. Her dedication to both her education and personal pursuits showcases her well-rounded approach, aligning seamlessly with our ethos of continuous development and holistic well-being.
Chloe Tucker
Junior Receptionist
Chloe has been working Saturdays at our Waratah clinic since 2022. Still in high school, se is the youngest team member, but has been enjoying and learning from her experience. Outside of work she is passionate about dance and photography.
